Help Local Organizations With Promotional Items

If you are a business owner and you are concerned about how much less you are making during this economic crisis, imagine how bad some others are feeling. It is hard to think about how much better off you are. There is always someone in a worse position. It would be nice if you could figure out a way to boost your own business and be helpful to others at the same time.

Funding is being cut from most community organizations and school groups and so they are in need of help.  Consider offering them free stuff that is specific to their group and its needs, but make sure that you are offering them great items with your logo imprinted right on them.  This not only serves as advertisement for you, but also provides your community with useful items that it needs, and the best part is you can deduct the cost of these items as a charitable donation made by your business.  This makes this type of advertising a win for everyone.

If you are trying to think of items that would work for donations, it is not hard. There are endless organizations in need. If you look in a local phone book you will see some that you probably didn’t even think of. Other than giving promotional products, they need canned food at some places and money is always accepted.

School sports teams are always in need of something.  So you can either consider helping to fund their jerseys while advertising on them at the same time, or consider some promotional sports bottles, designed to last while showing your community spirit. If there is one thing that AA and NA groups are known for its their coffee drinking, so consider donating some logo coffee mugs to this group for an excellent advertising opportunity.    

Scouts and campfire clubs would be happy to get some branded flashlights and other cool stuff that they can use camping. They even make compass key chains! There are community after school programs that are in need of toys. You can have them labeled with your logo too. A Frisbee or blow up balls are fun for kids of all ages. Helping your community helps your company too.

You could donate promotional items to schools for a big impact. The soccer team would be happy with some promotional apparel in school colors that have your company logo.

Can someone help me out with this advertising/design assignment?

I’m trying to create an advertisement that would be in a magazine. The ad is for any kind of coffee brand and the target audience is college kids. So an idea would be to just have college kids drinking coffee and then have the logo of the drink with a motto on it. Nothing too complex. Just simple. I don’t know how to create any kind of designs like this on the computer so I was hoping someone could help me out. Either show me how to do it or just put it together real fast and send it over. Thanks

Coffee can help students concentrate more, think faster you could work that in (it inscreases blood flow to whole body(brain))
