what’s so special with starbucks coffee?
my parent’s don’t get the point spending a hundred pesos on a flavor called “coffee americana”…starbucks..
although i like their coffee jelly.
why is it pricy?
some people make a big fuss about these things…why do you think so?

I havent’t tried Starbucks Philippines yet but I luv starbucks here in North America not only because of its’ name but primarily because of its’ taste. We have a lot of high end cafes here but people still go to Starbucks because of the quality that they are giving their custumers. Hot or cold coffees, they are all good.
It’s pricy because they have to follow the price standard of Starbucks. Remember it is a franchise so, they have to follow the franchisors policies as to the prices and products are involved.
They can’t lower the price there in the Philippines just because they are in a third world or developing country. Still, they need to meet the standard because as franchisees, they are paying the royalty to the franchisors.
